Trove privacy collection notice

The National Library of Australia is committed to protecting your privacy, under the Privacy Act 1988. When you create or renew your Trove account, we will collect your personal information, including name and email address, for the purpose of:

• processing your Trove account
• facilitating your access to and use of Trove services.

When you create/ renew your Trove account, we will also collect your personal information for the purpose of:

• sending you newsletters relating to Trove and information on events and activities
• facilitating fundraising related activities, including sending you information on how you can support the Library
• seeking your feedback on Trove and library services, e.g. via online surveys

unless you unsubscribe or tell us you do not wish for your information to be used in this way.

By creating or renewing your Trove account, you consent to your personal information being collected, held, used and disclosed in accordance with the Trove privacy notice and the National Library’s Privacy Policy. We will only use and disclose your personal information as described in the Trove Privacy notice and the National Library’s Privacy Policy, and you provide consent.
